The National School of Theology Launches First International Campus in Kenya

Dr. Orlando E. Short Expands Global Vision with the Opening of The International School of Theology in East Africa

CLEVELAND, OHIO – The National School of Theology (NSOT), under the visionary leadership of its founder, president, and provost, Dr. Orlando E. Short, proudly announces the official launch of its first international campusThe International School of Theology, located in Kenya, East Africa. This historic expansion marks a significant milestone in NSOT’s 25-year legacy of equipping Kingdom leaders and defending the faith through sound, biblical education.

Established in July 2025, the Kenya campus is a direct fulfillment of NSOT’s longstanding commitment to global theological training and leadership development. It represents not only a geographic expansion, but also a deepening of NSOT’s mandate: to make accredited, Spirit-led theological education accessible to pastors, ministers, and believers around the world — especially in areas where resources and formal training have historically been limited.

“This is more than just the opening of a new school,” said Dr. Short. “It is the birthing of a Kingdom training hub that will raise up men and women of God who rightly divide the Word of truth, boldly defend the faith, and serve with excellence in their nations and beyond.”

The International School of Theology will offer certificate, diploma, and degree programs in areas such as Apologetics, Hermeneutics, Pastoral Leadership, and more — all rooted in NSOT’s high academic standards and unwavering biblical values. Classes will be available both in-person and online, providing flexibility for students across East Africa and beyond.

The new campus is designed to be more than an academic institution; it is a strategic apostolic center for equipping, empowering, and commissioning leaders to fulfill the Great Commission. Through partnerships with local churches, ministries, and international allies, the school will also provide mentorship, hands-on ministry opportunities, and spiritual formation.
