Academic Requirements

  1. Educational Background:

  2. Application Form:
    • Fill out the Application for Admission in it’s entirety. This form gathers personal information, academic history, and and references.
  3. Transcripts:
    • Submission of official transcripts from previously attended educational institutions are required. These transcripts should show your academic performance in high school or any college-level courses.
  4. Letters of Recommendation:
    • NSOT requires two letters of recommendation from teachers, pastors, or other individuals who can attest to your character, academic abilities, and potential for theological studies.
  5. Statement of Purpose or Essay:
    • Compose a personal statement or essay communication your motivations for studying theology, your faith journey, and your goals within the theological field.
  6. Prerequisite Courses:
    • Certain programs might have prerequisites in subjects like religious studies, philosophy, or ethics. These prerequisites ensure that you have a foundational understanding before entering more advanced theological studies.
